Valentino worn by Jenny Sinkaberg

Sarah Jessica Parker's new perfume SJP: NYC started out as a code name but turned into this idea of Carrie Bradshaw (Parkers Sex and The City Character) The perfume Channels the essence of Carrie, A strong Independent, Sensual woman.

was developed by perfumer Honorine Blonc the notes include mandarin, white osmanthus, strawberry, gardenia, honeysuckle, mimosa, rose, sandalwood, vanilla absolute, rum flavor and creamy musks. It is available in $15, $30, and $60 bottles, and sets.
As Carrie Bradshaw once said
"Every once in awhile, a girl has to indulge herself."
And this perfume is like a dream...It is worth it

The moody blues in this painting inspired me. I think it is kind of interesting so this is the daily inspiration!

Another weekly post, every Wednesday I will post pictures of fashionable men because isn't that how we like our men?

This Armani outfit is straight off the Milan Runway

Patterns and prints, Seen from some of the biggest fashion labels, DKNY, Balenciaga, Lyn Devon, Mui Mui, Roberto Cavalli, Rebbecca Taylor, and Anna Sui, Alexander McQueen, and Betsey Johnson, and just to name a bunch!
Betsey Johnson
Alexander McQueen

Anna Sui

Balenciaga

Love it or hate it?...you decide!..if you do make sure you look out when doing your spring shopping. Be careful though prints can either do a good job, and be flattering or they can be a disaster. They only work all over the body on some people. If prints don't work for you rock some printed accessories!

The Orchid

The color of this delicate beauty is just simply stunning. The orchid depicts Femininity and strength and is quite exotic

Jill Stuart Worn by Vivane Orth

Here is another post that i will feature on a weekly basis. Every Tuesday I will post up a sketch from my sketch book. This is just one of the many weekly posts, I will have one for every day plus other fabulous content.

I did this sketch in about five minutes it is nothing finished just rough...hope you like it. The messy and stylized look is how i like to design lately. My more recent work is much more stylized then ever before, I keep exploring new styles with my design and i will continue to try a little of everything.

I also will be posting something daily. It wont be just anything it will be something that grabs me, something that inspires me and makes me feel that pang of passion and excitement. I don't like doing anything artistic or fashion related (even shopping) without some kind of inspiration. I am majorly inspired by but there is so much out there that is inspirational and I will share what i find daily.

So this is your first daily inspiration, It is a beautiful painting I happened to stumble upon and it really called me. It at first looks like splashes of color but at second glance is so much more. It really is a beautiful piece and that is why this is perfect of my first daily inspiration! I hope it inspires you like it did me.

BCBG Max Azria worn by Anya Kazakova

These women normally dress immaculately for the red carpet but something must have impaired their judgement when when getting dressed for this event...or their stylists should just be fired. These are the biggest disappointments of the night From women who normaly blow us all away.

Tina fey In Zac Posen
This is just too much dress on her cut it just above the knee and it would look a million times better then it does right now.

Diane Kruger in Christian Lacroix
This is just the wrong dress for the Golden Globes red carpet. The color is too much and the length of the dress just makes it look matronly.

Marion Cotillard in Dior

This dress looks like scraps of fabric sewn together on the dress. The dress is supposed to look like it was draped elegantly but fails.

2010 Golden Globes Fashion Hits

Women hit the 2010 Golden Globes Red Carpet in style last night. These where some of the best red carpet looks.

Best Dressed-Olivia Wilde in Calvin Klein
Olivia normally keeps it soft and sweet for the red carpet (see her lavender Reem Acra dress at the 2009 Golden Globes) But this hard edge look works so well for her. The cut is just right and the garment flows well. She looks amazing and the hair and makeup works like a charm.

Penelope Cruz stunningly in Giorgio Armani Privé

Anna Kendrick in Marchesa sporting her red ribbon for Haiti

Zoe Saldana looking chic in Louis Vuitton
This Gown looks lovely, The color is just right. This is definitely a style hit!

I want to start off by posting this look by Burberry Prorsum (pre-fall) worn by Lisanne De Jong. This is one of my favorites from the pre-fall collection. I will be posting one look daily (along with other content) and also some other fabulous stuff on certain week days (I will have more on that later).

I just wanted to start off my new blog by introducing myself and giving you all a little bit of an idea of what fashion means to me and who I am as a Designer.

Fashion is my life, the thread weaving in and out of fabric is my inhale and exhale of breath to my lungs. The pulse of the sewing machine as it swiftly bounds fabrics together is my heartbeat. The brightly colored, unique, and textured bolts of fabric are my spirit. The colorful, strong, and bold spools of thread are my personality. All of these pieces together create one garment. That magnificent finished piece represents everything I am as a designer.

As a designer I let my heart, and intuition do the decision-making. I come up with a concept or idea and I allow my creativity to take control. I try to picture things with different colors, patterns, and textures. I love working with different and innovative materials. I have always loved creating and fashion design has helped me channel my creativity in ways I never imagined possible.

Looking back over the past year I have noticed how much I have grown as a designer. I have developed my own unique personal style when I design, but there is always room to grow. Once you stop growing then you cannot call yourself a designer. I will continue to grow, and also develop and refine my skills. Designing is my life, expression is my life, and creativity is my life.
